Re: Saints D-Line back to full strength
If you like an Old Fashioned and are interested in a play on an Old Fashioned I highly recommend this. Not a drop of whisky but has the leather sofa, smokey back room, spicy taste of a good one. I have a small handcrafted cocktail bar not far from me that make this and it is amazing enough for me to source everything so that i can make it at home. Flaming an orange peal takes practice lol. The Mezcal gives it a peaty hint.
1 ounce mezcal (preferably Del Maguey Vida) 1 ounce blanco tequila (preferably Siembra Azul) 1/2 ounce Averna 1/4 ounce Royal Combier Garnish: 3 mists Angostura and a flamed orange peel And yes, Lophroaig will leave you thinking you had smoked brisket ![]() |
