I agree. That's why he'll not be successful at QB. Winston is far more talented at that lone position, while Hill may be more valuable as the all round weapon he has demonstrated.

I like Hill. Huge fan. However, I truly believe Winston is the heir apparent to Drew Brees and that you may see him as early as this season. Not because he’ll beat Brees out. Even if he was clearly outperforming Brees in camp the organization has to start Brees. It’s only right they let him end his career with him leaving it all on the field.

I think you may seem Jameis because I’m not sure Brees can stay healthy for a full season anymore. He’s been getting dinged up every year. I’m fully comfortable with Winston at QB. I think you’ll see a much improved player once he gets into the Saints system. I trust the organization on that side of the ball.

I think that Winston will be the Saints starting QB next year. There's better coaching and leadership with the Saints than there was with the Bucs. Arians told Jameis to chuck it. "No risk it no biscuit" is Arians mantra. There's madness to his methods rather than methods to his madness.

Add that to his Eye surgery and a seemingly new approach to life, I could see Winston in New Orleans for many more years.

OMG the former #1 pick is the more talented QB than the undrafted read option QB... shocking! Of course Jameis is better. Dude can be a legitimate star with Payton’s coaching and the weapons we have. I don’t really like Jameis because he’s corny AF but I’m smart enough to see that he could be an excellent heir apparent.

I feel the same. It took a while to get the stench of Tampa out of my nostrils but it was a killer signing. Either way we have a Qb that can keep us competitive after Drew. With our weapons Hill could get it done short term but Winston is the obvious long term answer.
I think we have seen the last of Drew anyway.

I wouldn't count Brees out so soon. I still cannot imagine him leaving the game before Brady. No way. And I certainly don't expect Brady to quit right now.

If he plays he won’t play here . The players don’t seem to want to play for him anymore. Sean probably knows it’s time to move on if he wants the younger players to buy into a system that makes us competitive long term. I think they’ve had enough of the Drew Brees show.

Not sure where the hell you got that idea. Here's a quote from Demario Davis that just came out today ...

Demario Davis: Saints will come back from latest playoff heartbreak, 'sure hope' Drew Brees does, too

If Davis had his way, Brees would return for one more round.

"I hope so. I sure hope so," he said when asked about whether Brees could come back for another season. "I would feel much better if I could guarantee that he was. But I guess the only way I could be able to guarantee (a comeback) was if one of y'all said something reckless, like, 'he's finished,' or something, then I could guarantee he's coming back. But I sure hope so."

“The pessimist sees difficulty in every opportunity. The optimist sees the opportunity in every difficulty.” — Winston Churchill
