Sean says a lot. BTW, I'd pass on Rosen. Why is a former 1st rounder bouncing around the leauge and on his 4th team in 3 seasons? IMO he's a career back up. |

Re: Is Winston already surpassing Taysom Hill?
Winston is our best option going into next year. I would like to see him come back on a two year cap friendly contract that’s fair for both parties. He’s got more of an upside than Hill and he’s had a year to get the Tampa stank off him. I also think Hills injury could be a lot worse than advertised. I have it from a personal source that he was done for the season but don’t know how bad it was.

Re: Is Winston already surpassing Taysom Hill?
If he plays he won’t play here . The players don’t seem to want to play for him anymore. Sean probably knows it’s time to move on if he wants the younger players to buy into a system that makes us competitive long term. I think they’ve had enough of the Drew Brees show.

I'm hoping that Winston seeing better will help him. He didn't wear his contact lenses when playing. We may have a diamond that everyone else thinks is an ordinary rock. If he quit throwing INTs he'd be amazing.

Re: Is Winston already surpassing Taysom Hill?
Remaining consistent... I have questioned Winstons decision making because of 30 interceptions in a single season, that said Hill had 11 fumbles in a single season. so on ball security it is a wash for me.
Winston hands down is the better pure pocket passer. Hill seems to make for a more dynamic offense but this isn't college football and when you take into account the loss of ball security, and his missing games every season due to injury, you cant consistently run the offense where you benefit from his upside. Winston will be our next QB but he either wont last long or will fail miserably due to all the people that will get cut to sign him. We should probably be discussing who the QB will be in 2022. |

You mean "He'll make it or he won't" There's a 50% chance of one of those happening!!!!! |

Re: Is Winston already surpassing Taysom Hill?
If Luck does end up making a comeback, that is a huge spot filled and there'll be plenty of QB's to go around. We probably won't have a problem retaining Winston if this is how it plays out and we indeed want to keep Winston.
