Even if it was a smaller amount of players, there are logistical issues with playing games right after a pocket of players has tested positive or players that have tested positive have came in contact with other players on your team, one of them being that PCR tests actually have horrible accuracy. If a player gets through the testing and has a false negative due to that player having a low viral load in their upper respiratory system, then it leaves other players and teams vulnerable to suffering from waves of infection.
