Re: Barry Hirstius: TRE’QUAN IN TROUBLE? Saints Receiver Competition Could Go “Down to the Wire”
Footnote on Tre ...
A reporter stated that Tre is having good practices however he doesn't really play with a sense of trying to embarrass a defender on a play (see Mike Thomas/Sanders/Harris) during one on one drills . TH has the tools, but not that dawg mentality. Possibly a confidence concern here. Something worth keeping an eye one. |

I'm crossing my fingers, but I think he has something to prove quickly and this is not the ideal environment. |

Re: Barry Hirstius: TRE’QUAN IN TROUBLE? Saints Receiver Competition Could Go “Down to the Wire”
Some people take longer than others to pick up the total concept of playing their position. MT was trained from birth by his uncle Keyshawn Johnson to understand the intricacies of the wide receiver position and excel. Quite a few football players were coaches sons and had a head start on the competition from a knowledge point of view. Coaching and preparing players is what a good coach does. Our old coaching staff is an excellent example of how not to coach as compared to their replacements.
No one knows anything about rugby before they step on a pitch. My job as a coach is to get them up to speed as quickly as possible. I coach to the player but i make them fit my system so everyone is on the same page. Some people pick up the concept quickly while others may take several seasons to get it down. |
There Are Two Kinds Of People In This World Being A Rugby Player Is Better Than Both Of Them
