Alex and Trey are guys I'd look to replace next season.

Amazing move by SP. Take a guy who is consistently hurt and mashed taters in the Vikings playoff game and sign him through 2035 for a brinks truck.

Maybe leading up to or during the draft you send AK for a good guard and draft picks...

Agreed, even if he reported in shape finally this year. SP must have looked around and saw no viable options in FA? He can play a couple of positions is an asset too, even if he frequents local establishments for fried chickens sammiches.

I simply don't understand why our coaches kept trying to make Peat happen - especially in the wildcard. When he went out and Easton came in for a few snaps, our Oline ... collectively improved.

The stubbornness in letting Peat back in to play contributed to that L.

Fast forward to 2020, we have an injury prone player injured. Now we'll have a handful of excuses why he under performs @ 11.5M a year.

I hate that contract.

Let's just wait and see. A couple of days ago some guest on NFL Radio was talking about a player who experienced a rash of injuries to begin his career, but ended up playing at a very high level for over after without any issues. I can't remember exactly who the play was ... I'm a year older now so my memory is going ... but it reminded me of the Peat situation, especially since none of Peat's injuries are related nor potentially chronic in nature.

Peat's existence appears chronic
