Reporter: So, are you open to trading Kamara?

Saints Insider: We're open to anything.

Reporter submitting story: Saints declare they are looking for trade options for Alvin Kamara.

Question - how can you be holding out if you have been in the building working out everyday while your agent has been actively working with the team on an extension? Could there be some media embellishment going on?

Things that make you go hmmmm.

Smart offer by the Panthers, without a stud QB, they can afford to pay McCaffrey as the face of the franchise; puts Saints up against the wall with Ramczyk, Lattimore, Williams, Anzalone, and Hendrickson also due up...

McCaffery was also involved in over half of the Panthers plays in 2019. And without a stud QB they will also remain without a Lombardi.

I feel like this org is preparing to rebuild all over when Brees retires. And may be rebuilding before he retires if there are no more shots at a SB after this year if he does not retire.

Alex and Trey are guys I'd look to replace next season.

Amazing move by SP. Take a guy who is consistently hurt and mashed taters in the Vikings playoff game and sign him through 2035 for a brinks truck.

Maybe leading up to or during the draft you send AK for a good guard and draft picks...

Agreed, even if he reported in shape finally this year. SP must have looked around and saw no viable options in FA? He can play a couple of positions is an asset too, even if he frequents local establishments for fried chickens sammiches.

I simply don't understand why our coaches kept trying to make Peat happen - especially in the wildcard. When he went out and Easton came in for a few snaps, our Oline ... collectively improved.

The stubbornness in letting Peat back in to play contributed to that L.

Fast forward to 2020, we have an injury prone player injured. Now we'll have a handful of excuses why he under performs @ 11.5M a year.

I hate that contract.

Let's just wait and see. A couple of days ago some guest on NFL Radio was talking about a player who experienced a rash of injuries to begin his career, but ended up playing at a very high level for over after without any issues. I can't remember exactly who the play was ... I'm a year older now so my memory is going ... but it reminded me of the Peat situation, especially since none of Peat's injuries are related nor potentially chronic in nature.

Not really. As verified by rezburna that procedure, among others, are very common for athletes. I believe some people confuse a common steroid epidural with an epidural anaesthesia. The former is what Kamara had and is to combat inflammation. The second is what can be given before surgery or childbirth to completely mask pain. I know people that have had one for an acute condition and never needed another. Myself, I have had close to twenty of them and they work quite well for my needs. But I have a chronic cervical condition.

LOL! Yeah. They are all so eager to break news that they don't take the time to verify if there is any validity to what they had been told. Ian Fullacrap has led the pack in that over the years.

Really hard to believe their going to pay big money to a rb that never rushed for 1000 yds, real hard to believe. He's not built to be a premier back either.

Yes, regardless of commonality in any industry, he wasn’t bored and just decided to have this procedure. There is a reason. Could be nothing, could be something..., but he didn’t just say: “hey let’s go get some Ben & Jerry’s and on the way let’s stop in and see what the diddly doo is on these injections.”.
