I am far less concerned over Davenport's elbow than Ruiz' ankle. A DE doesn't need the practice reps that a C/G would require. An elbow shouldn't affect Davenport's speed. I could see them resting it for now. Ruiz, however could be affected by an ankle depending upon the severity and he needs the reps.

The Bucs have greater concern with Evans' hammy. Even if they rest it up until gametime there is no telling what could happen once he is full go. That's a big one to watch.

The Bucs have greater concern with Evans' hammy (or, his avoiding Marshon Lattimore). Even if they rest it up until gametime there is no telling what could happen once he is full go (to get shut-down). That's a big one to watch.

I’m biased when it comes to our “two firsts” guy. He can be a difference maker as a pass rusher. I like him and like the aggressive trade that got him here. That being said, his ability to stay healthy, and actually play, have to be included in the calculus of whether that trade was “worth” it. Once again, lol, I’m biased my friend, but I could be totally wrong on the cost benefit analysis a year or two down the road. Fingers crossed he just gets more healthy.
