Never said it was his, nor ANYONE’S fault individually..., but the record is what the record is. Every team out there has bad calls, bad plays, and bad bounces. That’s an excuse, not a reason.

And every team doesn't win it all. What is your real reason why he should have won it all? What did he do wrong that he and no other could have done better to win it all?

Waiting ...

What? lol, I don’t have to hyper-analyze everything everybody has done in each of the Saints seasons, successful or not, nor do I want to! The playoff record is what matters, it’s the only thing that matters, when it comes to equating success with a player or a HC. Don’t believe me? Ask Dan Marino. I’m VERY grateful for the 2009 season. I was there, Section 259, Row 4, Seat 9, my first year with season tickets! I was there for every game including the Championship game (didn’t make the SuperBowl ticket cut though, lol).

Bottom line, since then, all the talking heads discuss how great the QB is, how great the HC is, how loaded the team is..., and how many conference championships have the Saints won since then? Zero.

I don’t care about the reasons, I don’t care about what could have been done, I don’t evaluate the ppl, just the record/stats, aka the quantitative analysis.

All very cool!

But, to repeat, what is your real reason why he should have won it all? What did he do wrong that he and no other could have done better to win it all?

Of course with all the emotion aside, if possible.

By the way, I spent my career dealing with quantitative analysis and five post-season games are not a viable sample for any cumulative analysis.

Try flipping a coin five times and you'll be quantitatively as accurate. Sorry, but it's the truth.

The record IS the record. It is not indicative of anything future related, I’m not trying to predict a future, at all. The future will play out as it is going to. Who cares about a coin-toss? That 2-3 record is just factual, it is unambiguous and indisputable (sans the blatant missed call), but the records don’t list an asterisk, now do they? I deliberately didn’t answer your question bc it’s a subjective answer, it’s unprovable, in any way shape or form. Therefore it’s a waste of time and effort to even engage in it.

The records are the records are the records..., and they don’t lie.
