Plus one. There likely were some borderline, non addressable behavour transgressions, where Sean wasn't happy with what he was seeing and this conflict presented an opportunity for a teachable moment...

At least that's what I expect the language around this incident to reflect...

Seems like this has been a feud thats been going on since last season.

Update: NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reported that Thomas punched second-year safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson.
This was confirmed by Nick Underhill for NewOrleans.Football, who reported that Thomas and Gardner-Johnson were also involved in a fight early last season. Both players got physical at an Aug. 20 training camp practice.
