For those wondering about Emmanuel Sanders ... He's all but OUT on Sunday as well due to Covid protocol.
It's looking like we'll be without our #1 & 2 WRs again this week. Others will have to step up. |

Edit: He was officially placed on the COVID-19 list on the 23rd so he won't be eligible until November 2nd, which is Monday. |

I won't have any confidence in our defense (especially the DBs) until they show they can play well consistently.
Its hard to forget all the journeyman QBs that have had career days against us. Wouldn't surprise me one bit if Foles throws for 350 and 3 TDs. |

Someone I follow on twitter said that if the defense doesn't show up this game, then they never will - and I agree. If they don't get a few turnovers and allow this to turn into a shootout, then the SuperBowl is way out of reach in my opinion

Perhaps we wouldn't be 4-2 and quickly getting healthy across the roster with a winnable stretch coming up. What do you mean by worse? Most of the league would love to be in our position.
Don't get where you are coming from. ![]() Worse was most every year in the Saints history before Sean Payton and Drew Brees arrived. Spoiled a little perhaps? |

Re: Saints Wednesday Injury Report: 2020 Week 8 at Chicago Bears
If by “our position” you mean currently out of the playoffs, and needing help (aka the thing you called luck) to get back in, then no, “most” of the league does not want to be “in our position” at this very moment. We’re currently 8th in the NFC, out of 16 teams, and out of the playoffs. That means there are a bare minimum of seven teams in the NFC and at least the same in the AFC who don’t want to be “in our position”.
I’m not sure what’s “worse”, going 3-13 with no playoff win, or going 13-3 with NO playoff win. At least with the 3 win team we’re rewarded with a top five draft pick. It’s not being “spoiled” to think our postseason record hasn’t matched the talent level of the roster we’ve had. And in all truthiness, one Super Bowl with what you, among many others argue is the GOAT QB in the NFL, is not success. Is it better than pre-Payton teams? Yes, without a doubt, but I’ll remind you that Eli Manning has more SB rings in the Payton/Brees era than Payton or Brees do. And that my friend is not just bad luck..., nor is it success. Expectation for success =/= being “spoiled”. imho. |
