Seems like we could get in a game situation where we feel compelled to have Drew do too much too soon, rather than have the first game hopefully be one where we can ease him back in.
Then again, his first game back in 2019 after surgery on his throwing hand.

34 of 43, 79.1% comp, 373 yds, 3 TDs, QBR 116.4

But AZ isn't KC.

This week against Denver will show what kind of coach Payton is and how ready Taysom is to be a starting QB. Fangio wil try to confuse Taysom with his defensive looks. If Taysom can read and recognize what Fangio sends will determine his future as a starting QB.

Love the optimism! I agree, I think we are in a good place.

I hope Drew’s back for KC he would dice the defense into shreds but our defense would have to hold Mahomee to 50 burger

Fifty? Mahomes has only topped forty points ONCE this season with 43 and that was against the Broncos at Denver.

But only if he is 100% healthy. It makes no sense to rush back if not completely healed.

They won't bring him back until he is ready enough and if he is ready enough then coming back against the Eagles is not "rushing". He probably won't be 100% until a couple of months after the season is over. No player is.

It makes total sense to bring him back when those that know far more than us deem it time. Thankfully "we" are not making those decisions as "we" don't have a real perspective.

Week 15 Chiefs game is a very likely scenario on Bree's return. I've heard Nick Underhill and Duncan allude to the same.

In the meantime, it's the Taysom Hill show.
