Cook was smart to fade out on the other pick whether he meant to or not because Harrison Smith was sitting underneath and could have easily made that play. The proper decision is to not make that throw at all. We’re in field goal range. He wants to check down any other time. They gave Kamara the ball 20 times on the ground for the first time in his entire career and he delivered. I can’t be the only person holding their breath every time Brees passes the ball these days. He’s still smart. That’s great, but the days of him carrying this team are dead. |
