this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Not really surprised to see Emmanuel, Janoris and Hardee signed elsewhere. They are still very good players....

Losing Hardee is a shame but I guess with things as they are he was likely to get a deal elsewhere.

Going to be a few spots UDFA to really gain a spot in the team.

Really not sure on Sherman. His best days are gone and injured last year. And does anyone see him playing for under 6ml a year. Get the feeling Richards may just want him in to help implement schemes etc.

This just gives new guys the chance to step up! Plus, there will be players available as the offseason continues. Maybe they will sign a couple
Veteran hired guns for low cost that just want a title...like Tampa did.

I wonder if the Saints are looking to bring in anyone via FA at WR?

Kind of like Curtis Samuel to fill the role left by Emmanuel S.

Gotta do something. We’ve lost a lot of talent and added a fullback.

I really like Sanders and was hoping he'd be brought back. Janoris was good and Hardee was a stud.

So I guess it’s Richard Sherman or gambling on finding a starter in the draft.

Yeah, it was wishful thinking; don't get spending money on a 33yo Sherman...

Payton get's stuck in these OCD time warps and thinks players don't age and break down...

Plus, he seems to have a lack of patience, aversion to actually coaching rookies...
