Somebody pinch me!I've watched the Saints since the game against the Rams at the old Tulane Stadium.The signing of Archie Manning,and watching Archie in the shotgun offense with the defense getting to Archie at about the same time as he received the snap from center.Talk about swiss cheese offense.Then we were beaten into submission by the dirty birds,then ca me the Aints.It's been a hell of a ride.My Dad used to say he would never live long enough to see the Saints have a winning season an i would be lucky if they won a playoff game in my lifetime.He was half right.CONGRATS TO THE ENTIRE NEW ORLEANS SAINTS FOOTBALL TEAM AND ORGANIZATION.ALSO CONGRATS TO ALL OF THE FANS OF WHO DAT NATION.THE BEST FANS IN THE WORLD.WE LOVE YOU NEW ORLEANS!!!

Not that it would change the stats that much, but I wouldn't look into the Pats game too much from the Colts perspective. They play the Pats so often and each team knows each other so well that they are like a division opponent. We know how close those division games can get.

The Saints and Colts each played the Bills, Jets, Dolphins, Rams, Pats and Cards. We scored and average 34.6 points versus these teams while the Colts scored 26.7. Our D held them to 17.5 points per game while the Colts gave up 21.2 points per game. Our average margin of victory was 17.1 to the Colts 5.5. Even if you throw out the games the Colts rested starters we still had twice the margin of victory and we didn't get the luxury of beating the Jets again and their "number 1 D" that gave up 8 losses this year.
