Lets not group our Offense with our Defense.

Presently I think our Offense and Defense should take separate buses.

The Offense is good.
The Defense has glimmers of Good but just needs to buy into Spags and pull it together.
I'm hoping the D ques in like they did for Sprag in New York. A little more time, hopefully. Looks like a swiss cheese wheel right now.

Re: Welcome To 0-2

I think our struggle with RG and Cam is because they run a college option attack. Instead of playing zone we should have been playing man. Would the outcome have been better? Who knows...I think the lack of halftime adjustments is killing us.

The offense stayed the course mostly. If anything, they should have started the hurry up offense way sooner than waiting until 4 min left.
The defense stays the course from start to finish, no matter how bad we are doing. I just don't see any adjustments to try and stop the other team. If zone d is not working through the first half guess what, it won't work in the second half either. Maybe I am off base but I just don't think we are making any adjustments on the D side of the ball when they are clearly struggling.

That's a "blow out"?
we only lost by 8 because we scored late in the 4th in both games. 35-20 mid way through the 4th quarter is the biggest blow-out the Saints have seen in the last 6 years.

At this point, I'd take blow out. I was discouraged before the end of the 1st quarter in both games.

Not since the g(l)ory years of the 60's, 70's, 80's and 2000's have I felt this disparing. Talent galore, but inept beyond prediction.
