This says it all for me. It's time to pass the torch. I still think we should see how the next few games play out and if we lose like the first two then have the Rookie QB come in and start tooling for next season. Bring in a lot of new rookies and start all over again. Payton and Brees deserve to stay as long as they want. We would've never had a Superbowl without them or the most gutsy call ever in the NFL, an onside kick to start off the second half of a Superbowl.

We also have Dempsey's kick. WE ARE A BIG PART OF THE NFL AND THE FANS ARE THE BEST!

Re: End of the Drew Breed Era ?

With the 75th overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft,
the New Orleans Saints selected quarterback Garrett Grayson of Colorado State. Grayson is now the heir apparent to Drew Brees. He was a first-team All-MWC player in 2014 and named the MWC offensive player of the year.

Grayson is considered one of the top quarterbacks in this year's draft behind Jameis Winston and Marcus Mariota, and he was the third quarterback to come off the board after those two. Winston and Mariota are considered perhaps the most starter-ready quarterbacks in the class, with players like Bryce Petty, Brett Hundley and Grayson occupying the second tier. NFL teams did plenty of homework, though. Grayson has a high ceiling and might not be too far from being a starter.

Grayson is the most productive quarterback in Colorado State history, owning school records in passing yards, passing touchdowns, completions and completion percentage. He also performed well in the Senior Bowl and looked solid at his pro day, posting good measurements and throwing well. He didn't take part in the scouting combine, but participated in drills and measurements at his pro day, running the 40-yard dash in 4.72 and 4.78 seconds, the 3-cone drill in 6.97 seconds and the short shuttle in 4.35 seconds. He also had a 34-inch vertical leap and a broad jump of 10'1.

Grayson will need to sit and learn for a season or two before he can be a starter, but he has the potential. He has shown great accuracy and can throw the deep ball well, though his decision-making leaves something to be desired.

The fact that Garrett Grayson kind of looks like Aaron Rodgers makes me want to see him on the field as quick as possible.

No one should ever doubt Drew Brees. Those who do not remember his past. Should go back and LOOK IT UP !!!! He's been down, he will get up.
