SAINTS DEPTH CHART - 2016 June OTAs

OFFENSIVE LINE

LT (2) 72 - Terron Armstead, 70 - Ryker Mathews, 79 - Joseph Cheek

LG (2) 68 - Tim Lelito, 65 - Senio Kelemete, 71 - Kaleb Eulls

C (2) 60 - Max Unger, 66 - Jack Allen, 61 - Marcus Henry

RG (1) 75 - Andrus Peat, 62 - Cyril Lemon, 78 - Landon Turner

RT (1) 64 - Zach Strief, 74 - Tyrus Thompson, 67 - Avery Young

Projected Starter

Reserve/Injured

Reserve/Future/UDRFA

Figure on Saints keeping between seven (7), maybe eight (8) offensive linemen on the final (53) intial roster...

Early Rankings of our offensive line would be:
  1. 72 - Terron Armstead - Armed with a new contract, Coach Payton thinks he's the best LT in the NFL...
  2. 64 - Zach Strief - Yeah, he's old, ugly in space, but he's the most underrated OT in the NFL...
  3. 60 - Max Unger - Formerly the best C in the league, key season to get him extended, hoping both Unger and Saints want it...
  4. 68 - Tim Lelito - Don't get all the FanHate, Former UDRFA that has worked his arse off and is poised for a breakout season...
  5. 75 - Andrus Peat - You can tell he's looked lost our of LT position, but he's got to be a pro, man-up and win a position or learn another...
  6. 65 - Senio Kelemete - An ideal utility inside offensive linemen who's becoming a pro's pro and is effective in short-run playing time...
  7. 74 - Tyrus Thompson - Maybe he's gotten by on physical talent so long that the NFL has been too much adjustment on the mental side?
  8. 78 - Landon Turner - Can be another in a long line of "steals" by the Saints UDFA, but he wasn't drafted for a reason...what's the reason?
  9. 79 - Joseph Cheek - Struggled on the inside at Texas A&M where favored star recruits were in place at OT, can the Saints get it right moving him back to OT?
  10. 70 - Ryker Mathews - Reminds of a young Strief, just a mountain of a man, very strong, and can limit the elite rushers once he gets his hands on...
  11. 66 - Jack Allen - Great athlete, Great Attitude, Great Intelligence, just wasn't born with NFL height, reach...
  12. 62 - Cyril Lemon - Physically can nearly check the boxes, but sometimes the NFL can be too cerebral...
  13. 71 - Kaleb Eulls - Made the brave decision to try playing another position; one of the highest character players Saints have had...
  14. 61 - Marcus Henry - Bowling Ball of a center, though only slightly undersized; played in limited scheme in college...
  15. 67 - Avery Young - Naturally big man and had some success in college because of it, but this is the NFL...

Offensive Linemen to watch who're likely to move up:
78 - Landon Turner
70 - Ryker Mathews
79 - Joseph Cheek
CheramieIII, ChrisXVI and K Major like this.
