Sanity Zone 10-28-2010

Posted 10-28-2010 at 02:54 PM by xan

After watching a bit of propaganda from both political extremes, it occurred to me that people may not know what kind of economic policy options that are available to our leaders. Believe it or not, it’s pretty easy to draw up and easy to understand.

I realize that there is a lot of anger in some people’s attitude toward our government, and it is rightly deserved. Our leaders have screwed up. However, policy options and their effects on the economy and jobs don’t change when there’s...

Ok, it's the Friday before the big game ... snack list filled out? check ... beverage list? check ... sides? check ... main entree? not checked, probably gonna' be a last minute, game day decision. Always have a hard time with this one, do you go with ribs, pizza, wings, subs or just all of 'em? Gotta' get the squares board up and see what oddball wagers are out there this year ...

So, I've talked around, did some research, got a feel from the people and the overwhelming, underlying...

Sanity Zone 8-28-2014 Looking down the Barrel

Posted 07-28-2014 at 04:01 PM by xan

First up, the exchange rate is really favorable for the US. That's excellent for anyone who likes a job. Demand for Manufacturing jobs are increasing, service jobs are increasing, wages are rising, inflation is creeping up (a good thing, for now) and asset prices are recovering. All...

What i tell you ! !! !

Posted 11-02-2014 at 11:37 AM by SAINTstunna

If you read my previous posts, I was right about the Saints not running the ball enough and committing to any of our running backs. I honestly think we would have success with any of the backs if we gave them enough touches. How can anyone get into a rhythm when our backs stat line looks like this: Ingram 8 carries, Thomas 7 carries, and Robinson about 9 carries ? ? ?? I understand running back by committee but I knew if we stuck to someone, anyone, that would open our team up as a whole....

Saints: A glimpse of the future

Posted 11-19-2014 at 09:52 AM by lee909

In the first of a two-part article I will attempt to look at were the Saints stand in the longer term. The team is a mix of older veterans (whose contracts are above what they offer to the team) and some very promising young players. Most of the Saints big contracts can start coming off the books in 2016 as contracts like Colston, Lofton, Bunkley etc will be at a point where the dead money is not too high to be written off if the team is in need of cap space or has found a better alternative. In...
