What to do on the OL?
I want Faneca. This is my personal mission for the offseason. I will start petitioning the Saints' FO and Faneca personally. If the signing goes thru, you all will have me to thank.
On Alleman: I personally saw him snapping the ball in Training camp this year. I'm not sure if that's an indication of things to come, but he was definitely being evaluated.Posted 12-18-2007 at 01:56 PM by WhoDat205 -

For The Love of The Game.
yes it was a good defensive game on a rain soaked field. The field was the worse I have seen. That is what happens with the system of sod rotation during the season. Just pray it does not rain before it takes hold. But in this case it did not happen. So the field dictated the game. I would play in the mud before I would play on that field.
As for the winless Dolphins. They have a good team. Most of there losses have come by 3 points or less and with a backup QB, RB and injuries through out the team during the season. I have made some good money on the dolphins and the points this year. So was I surprised by the score? NO. I pick up my winnings again today and will laugh all the way to the bank. Again.Posted 11-28-2007 at 05:42 AM by hagan714 -

Saints Holding Onto 37-Year Old Record.
I was watching it on a black and white (not gold LOL) tv.
If he established the record in 1970 and this year is 2007, wouldn't that be 37 years? Just curious?.
Unless you are referring to the record Dempsey broke, which was 56 yards, which held for 17 years.Posted 11-12-2007 at 08:46 AM by EJAMM

Glamore Position in Flux for 2007
The rumor started with the the vikings last year and the local papers talk about Minnesota trading a RB for picks in order to get him. It has resurfaced again. Rumor out of Arizona is this, Larry does not like the new offensive game plan. Too much running. So take it for what is, a rumor that Larry has not supported publicly. So who knows? Larry ain't saying.
The number of picks is one thing I wonder about. But he would put an end to any questions of who is number one.
I wonder if Drew has Turner's ear about the saints. That would be interesting if he is needed. But he really is unproven.Posted 11-08-2007 at 09:24 PM by hagan714 -
Glamore Position in Flux for 2007
Good Post Kev. Not ready to do back flips with the choices we have sitting out there. First I've heard about the Fitzgerald deal. What's the news behind that rumor? Now if that happens....back flip time!Posted 11-08-2007 at 11:52 AM by SapperSaint -
Problem for the NFC and the New Orleans Saints
Very good post Euph!
I miss the 9ers rivalry, the Rams, and the Falcons rivalry has lost it's luster. I would have to say our next rivalry will be with the boys. We spanked them last year, and I know they want another shot at us. Indy and NE, are the only two teams that have a current and hated rivalry.
Again, very good post.Posted 11-07-2007 at 02:08 PM by SapperSaint -
Problem for the NFC and the New Orleans Saints
Good post. Philly is the closest thing to a rival, but they're waning.
I'd say the Cowboys are the best barometer. They have a lot of young talent and play a slightly different brand of football. There's also the recent history where the Saints have won 5 straight with a prime-time ass-whoopin' that will not be soon forgotten by either team. Plus, if you look at the conference, those are the only two teams that seem poised for any future success.Posted 11-06-2007 at 05:21 PM by WhoDat205 -
Problem for the NFC and the New Orleans Saints
Very true. It would be nice. It just makes it more exciting. But you're right, who would it be. I still think, after last year, the closest we might have are the Eagles. I was at the playoff game, it was a show. Great game for both teams. And believe it or not the Eagle fans were fun to be around. I even got invited to Philly.
Good post Euph.Posted 11-04-2007 at 12:09 AM by JOESAM2002 -
NO Reason to Panic over the OL
If it's left up to me, I think, with the health problems of Deuce, we need to consider a bruiser back from somewhere. Free agent or draft,it really doesn't matter to me. Linebacker still seems to be a problem too. There are a lot of ways to go in the offseason.Posted 11-04-2007 at 12:05 AM by JOESAM2002 -
Nose Bleed Section Approves of Saints Win Streak
I'll have what he's drinking. Really,I tend to agree. I just have to give the old Admin a hit now and then.

Nose Bleed Section Approves of Saints Win Streak
So true. Nice to have you back in your seat and not rocking the boat.
Jack is the test match up to see if we are back. Indi did not run all over them, There D is still great and Jacks coming back into the house. So they will be ready. I worry about the St. Louis game and a TRAP game but the 0-4 start may have taken care of that. That could turn into a barn burner. Houston is still tuff. If we can get 2 out 3 we will be sitting good in the division stretch run to follow. Sweeping all three teams is key.Posted 11-02-2007 at 06:09 AM by hagan714 -
Nose Bleed Section Approves of Saints Win Streak
"Eyeing the schedule the rest of the way, the schedule may be one of the easiest of any possible playoff contender. Jacksonville, St. Louis, Houston, Carolina, Tampa Bay, Atlanta, Arizona, Philadelphia and Chicago hold a combined 26-41 mark with only the Jaguars and Panthers above .500."
