We Predict More To COME
Ok, I was freaked out like everyone else for a while there. HOLY CRUD, I mean like how scared can they make us? We were all staring down the gun of an "Oh-Fer" season. After the first three games, I couldn't think of a team we could beat.
Read this article from Ken Trahan It pretty much sums it up.
Now the Saints look like the Saints of 2006 we all know and love.
There's a possible win streak coming. I'll give you my take for the immediate future.
Jacksonville could be a tough game for the Saints. Don't underestimate them... they are almost the best team (besides Carolina) left on the schedule.
Here is the remaining schedule going forward:
Nov. 4 JACKSONVILLE (CBS)
Nov. 11 ST. LOUIS (FOX)
Nov. 18 at HOUSTON (FOX)
Nov. 25 at CAROLINA (FOX)
Dec. 2 TAMPA BAY (FOX)
Dec. 10 at ATLANTA (ESPN)
Dec. 16 ARIZONA (FOX)
Dec. 23 PHILADELPHIA (FOX)
Dec. 30 at CHICAGO (FOX)
I predict the Saints can beat the Jags, but after a dog fight (don't as me why, it's one of those things I guess.) St. Louis is not good and the Texans need to be beaten.
Prediction: Saints SHOULD win the next 3 games and be 6 and 4 going into the Carolina game.
The Remaining Games
The real stinky dogfight that makes or breaks this season will be at Carolina and Tampa Bay at home. The game at Carolina will be another battle to the death, eyeball popping, hair pulling event. I believe the Tampa game is revenge and the Saints can win depending on either how desperate they are after either winning or losing to Carolina, or how beat up they are after the Carolina game.
It would seem to the fan observer that the rest of the schedule is winnable. I can agree with that but remember: THINGS HAPPEN. Teams show up to play who appear to be sleeping mid season.

"Eyeing the schedule the rest of the way, the schedule may be one of the easiest of any possible playoff contender. Jacksonville, St. Louis, Houston, Carolina, Tampa Bay, Atlanta, Arizona, Philadelphia and Chicago hold a combined 26-41 mark with only the Jaguars and Panthers above .500."

So true. Nice to have you back in your seat and not rocking the boat.
Jack is the test match up to see if we are back. Indi did not run all over them, There D is still great and Jacks coming back into the house. So they will be ready. I worry about the St. Louis game and a TRAP game but the 0-4 start may have taken care of that. That could turn into a barn burner. Houston is still tuff. If we can get 2 out 3 we will be sitting good in the division stretch run to follow. Sweeping all three teams is key.Posted 11-02-2007 at 06:09 AM by hagan714 -
