Well, baseball's not too big with us, mainly bc the Pirates have been, shall we say, less than competitive. It was great to see the Bucs sold out that series, and the atmosphere before the game was NFL level. Maybe that idiot owner will wake up and hold onto these players.

yeah, and long term it's stupid...owners will complain about salaries, and here's Holmgren driving up the price just to drive it up. And what the hell will Philly do with another forward? Hope to win every game 8-7 like the old Oiler/Fuhr days?

... I can see what he's doing though, it's similiar to the line of thinking on not making deals that will help a team in your conference ... he figures if he can't have either one of those guys, he's gonna' drive the price up ... sort of like those guys on 'Storage Wars',
