I think that the Sharks scored big time by bringing in two high caliber ACs in Larry Robinson and Jim Johnson - I think those guys will have an immediate impact on the Sharks' PK and defensive play, which will help them immensely.

They didn't get any faster, which is a concern, but maybe they'll tweak their playing style to accommodate that fact and not just try to emulate what Detroit does, because they simply don't have the team speed for it.

Brad Stuart was also a nice pick up for a 2nd pair defensive defenseman to pair with Boyle, so Vlasic can pair with Burns as the 1st pair, and Murray can be dropped to 3rd pairing with Braun or Demers.

I was impressed by Moore. Not the most talented but the dude will bust his ass like nobody's business. He is a solid 3rd liner and an asset to any team, though never strong enough to secure a spot.

Moore didn't really impress anyone late last season after the trade from Tampa to SJ, but it was later revealed that his wife went through a really hard stint at the time with a disease (cancer I think), so that really hurt Moore's ability to concentrate on his game.

Yeah, wife had breast cancer. Think she was diagnosed like the week after he was traded.
