The only asset Roman Harper has is blitzing from the SS position he can't go up against a
TE much less a Tackle! So linebacker never but trade bait yes because Harper's skills are needed in a 4-3 where an extra Blitzer is needed because 4-3 usually doesn't have OLB like 3-4 has who are usually passrushing specialist unlike Sam and Will linebacker's who are olb in a 4-3 where they are assigned responsibilities to account for!

There is a little posting ettique that needs to be adhered to here.............

merge the 3 into a genetcally enhance rookie. Change defence into a 4-7-1
, and have the mighty Rnamdi Jabar cover all pass catchers.

Find a way to keep them all and cut something somewhere else. with greer, robinson, lewis, Nnamdi, jenkins and harper we would have the best secondary in football. We also have solid linebackers in lofton, hawthorne, galette, wilson, vilma and a couple of good DE and DT. That's where we need to focus most of our energy after Nnamdi comes in.

I think that if he is willing to take a discount to play with a talented team, it could be a great pick up. Rob seems to know how to use him, he and greer could teach the younger corners the ins and outs. I say give it a chance.

Damned if it ain't that time of year to be getting optimistic! Don't forget we have a new confident DC too!

Maybe his feelings were hurt that we only gave him a little time with the GM and HC. I guess we expected Ryan to close the deal for us.
Regardless, it looks like Ryan does know how to use Namdi Asomaaaaarrrggghhhhhhhhhhhh.(sp?)

I don't mind if we can sign a guy like Nnamdi. But our problem is the front 7... not so much corner back. New coordinator or not, you can't mask the fact that the same players who have not been able to give you a pass rush the past few seasons are still here.

I don't care who we have playing corner for us. In todays game, most secondary's are going struggle without a good pass rush.

I think if we do get him we won't spend much in cap the first year. Loomis knows what he's doing. The fact that Coach and Loomis met with Nnamdi means alot to me. I think there just trying to work the details out now. If we could keep Lewis, Nnamdi, Greer and Robinson together for 3 years that is 3 possible Superbowls and that's hard for anyone to pass up.
