Where are we going to get the money for namdi?

He's getting a new pricetag, which means we set the price.... He's not the player he once was, sure and for two seasons Philly D ruined his rep, yes but he was successful in the scheme that we are moving to that should count for something.... He could help our transition while we find our first ever shutdown corner.... Quote:
As soon as he puts his name on a Saints contract, he becomes the best CB we have ever had!!!! |
Re: Nnamdi is now available.
Why is there no news on this guy? You'd think if anyone was interested they'd already pick him up. The only teams I see making a play for him are pats, chiefs or jets if not us. But if jets do, they will be dumb because they are a zone.

Re: Nnamdi is now available.
Harper's going to get traded or cut, Smith restructured his base from 9mil to 3mil
and Vilma restructured his base from 4.75mil to 1mil! So we saved 9. 75 mil on that then cut Herring saved another 1.75mil so they started 6 mil over but shed almost 12mil So we should be around 6mil to the good! |
Re: Nnamdi ?
didn't he play for rob ryan in oakland?...if he comes cheap and wants to win, bring him in

He played for Ryan for 5 years and was considered the best man CB in the NFL. |
Saints kicking the tires on Asomugha?
ProFootballTalk@ProFootballTalk
Saints are in on Nnamdi Asomugha derby, too, per league source. He played for defensive coordinator Rob Ryan in Oakland. |
Re: Saints kicking the tires on Asomugha?
Looks like we want to get the corners sorted pre draft.
Good idea imo, means we can draft bpa in less positions, rather than need. |
Re: Saints kicking the tires on Asomugha?
Asomugha would be an awesome addition. He was very effective under Ryan when they worked together in Oakland.
