Nnamdi Asomugha just left the @49ers facility. What happens next? I have the exclusive. #FreeAgency

re: Nnamdi Asomugha (All in one)
The RT and LT position is not as important on our team as the middle where Grubbs and Evans are as well as De'lapuente.
Its because we got RBs and TEs that chip block which gives Brees plenty time to release the ball. |

Okay, so how do we get back to a balanced attack with a running game with Charlie Brown and Zack Strief manning the Tackle positions? We have a problem... |
re: Nnamdi Asomugha (All in one)
Our problem with secondary, is depth gentlemen..... With Nhamdi and Lewis, AND Greer, coached up to their potential, ALL of our front 7 will do a better job getting to the QB....

Asomugha? Who wouldn't want to add him to their roster, you'd have to crazy not to want him! I don't think it's a matter of if a team - i.e. the Saints - wants him or not, but rather if they can negotiate a contract with such a player that'll tilt the odds in favor of the team coming on top in the investment vs return equation. |

"All Kelly could say about Asomugha was, “I don’t have his group of plays, or how he played in Game 1 through the last game of the season,” then after more questions, “I think Nnamdi has the skill set (pause) that can play football.” We all know that the former Oakland Raiders cornerback played horribly in 2012. He can no longer run with the faster receivers in the league, his quickness and change of direction are subpar and he seems indecisive when he comes up into the press technique, which used to be his strength. Bottomline, he’s no where near worth the the $15 million dollars they slated to pay him now." Chip Kelly Speaks Well Of Foles And Ryans, But Not Asomugha | GCOBB.COM |
