What misinformation are you talking about on Roman Harper "his lack of tackling ability and no not the ones he makes the many he misses, or the lack of coverage since Greg Williams used a will LB Shanle and Fujita for cover assignments cause Harper sucked so bad, or was it the Whole defense had to be schemed around all his weakness sure he worked hard and tried hard but he is a bust that a DC made rich and successful it isn't misinformation it is obvious if you know football he is a misfit "slow and small"! Has no position and will never be able to play safety as a safety the book has been out since the 2010 playoffs even Greg Williams couldn't scheme for him forever the whole reason it was successful was because it was unpredictable but once the weaknesses are exposed It's exposed and every OC will and did!

Peyton had an entire year to script an entirely new can of Whipa$$. Tebow would / could be another dimension for SP to rein hell on the entire NFL.

Bill Belichick thought he was worth signing on a team that already had Brady and Mallett. It's pretty hard to argue that the Saints have better players on their QB depth chart than the Patriots.

I'm telling you Brees is better than Brady, and you dont know crap about Mallett since he has a grand total of 4 attempts and 1 completion in the NFL, I would put Wallace on the field before Mallett.

I would put Wallace and McCowan on the field before Mallett, and just out of spite I would start Griffin before Mallett also.

Jack Vegas 06-11-2013 10:46 AM

Re: The NO TEBOW zone

Wallace couldn't even get a job in the NFL last year. "Just out of spite?" Come on, that's stupid. However, for the sake of argument let's said the backups are even.

But if you really want to say Brees is better than Brady, you need to provide some arguments other than just "because I say so." I don't think anybody in their right mind can honestly claim to believe that and I might be the biggest Drew Brees fan here.

The original point stands regardless. If Tebow did not have talent, he would not have been signed by the Patriots, who are far and away the best and most well-run organization in football over the last 10 years. Period.

Now you are wrong on two accounts.

Drew proves it in the field, I don't need to. The burden of proof is on you.

LOL.

Brady = 5 Super Bowl appearances, 3 wins
Brees = 1 appearance, 1 win

Brady = 2 league MVP's
Brees = 0 league MVP's

Statistically, about the same, except Brees throws way more interceptions.

So if you ignore rings, statistics, and overall acheivement, and are a delusional homer, Then sure, you can say Brees is better than Brady.

I hate having to argue against Brees but come on, let's not be stupid. It does not make you less of a Saints fan to respect other teams and let's face it if anybody deserves respect for his career, it's freaking Tom Brady.

There is no let(s). I'm not being stupid with you.

First you say statistically even then you offer to ignore statistics. Make up my mind.

Secondly you said the better QB on present depth chart... (is)...that's present tense. Nothing to do with what Brady did in the past unless you want to reference last season as theist recent example.

Presently in the 2013 season I would start Brees over Brady.

Jack Vegas 06-11-2013 05:57 PM

Re: The NO TEBOW zone

Tom Brady 2012: 4827 yards, 63%, 34 TD, 8 INT, 98.7 QBR
Drew Brees 2012: 5177 yards, 63.0%, 43 TD, 19 INT, 96.3 QBR

I don't see how you can qualify Brees as the superior quarterback, either right now or over the course of their respective careers. Any way you look at it - statistically, wins and losses, championships, awards - any way, Brady wins. It's not even really a contest.

Sorry.

Again, it does not make you less of a Saints fan to recognize the accomplishments of others. I'm a reasonable enough person to see the obvious. If you don't want to admit that, it's your problem. Just be aware that you have a really skewed perspective and don't be surprised when you get dismissed by people who know better.

Is that a clinical assessment of my psychological deficiencies or just your less than humble opinion? Either way you are not getting a co-pay.

The discussion is about as valid as who's super model girlfriend is hotter, it is entertaining though. At least it was until you persisted in making it personal.

The entire 3 championships that New England has doesn't mean much to me because of spygate.

Bounties are just dirty
Spying is cheating

There is a difference.

You were the one who started the snarky BS, not me.

But as I already said, if you want to be willfully ignorant, that's your own personal issue. Just don't be surprised when you're mocked for it.

I would argue that New Orleans is just as good if not better than New England.

I'd love to be in the AFC East playing the jets, fins and bills twice a year.
1st seed every year...
Oh wait that's exactly what New England does.

Which is my point lol... The Brady/brees argument has been played out on the internet for a while now... In the end its like the USD to Euro conversion rate, it all depends on what day you look at it.
