Ok... He has a cartel of lawyers... The NBA is comprised much like the NFL... Meaning this will be 1 Cartel of lawyers vs 29 cartels of lawyers.

I've seen this happen many times. There are multitudes of ways the League can make him "want to sell"...

What would your decision be given the below.
Your team is worth near 1BN, and your options are to sell or:

1. The League revokes your franchise and starts a new team in another city with a new owner. Your franchise value will be $0.
Example (close enough to get the point): There is a Copelands of New Orleans building in Lafayette La. on Ambassador Caffery that has never been open, yet it has stood there for at least 15 years... a few hundred yards down the road is an open and fully operating Copelands of New Orleans. Why was it never opened? Because the owner bought the property and the rights to the building but never paid for the rights to the menu. Did Copelands force him to sell? No but they made sure that building has never opened for business and the owner cant afford to demolish it and start over. Can the NBA force him to sell depends on how you view the word "force"? The league can revoke his franchise and leave him with nothing but bills and operating costs.

2. Your ownership stake is going to be diluted to a fraction of its original value. Your hefty income becomes $1.45/year

Forcing someone to sell doesn't always mean them selling against their will, sometimes you can force that person to want to sell.

I am not guessing here, I am speaking from experience.

Franchise owners are often forced to want out.

This should satisfy this debate.
