I know some media people who knew him when he was at NCSU. He played baseball and football for the Wolfpack. One of my friends said that Wilson was really suffering from food poisoning his freshman year, yet still made a trip with some football teammates to visit with recovering wounded warrior project soldiers at Camp LeJeune in Jacksonville, NC.
