Does Ciara like seafood
![]() Seriously speaking I don't believe that there is any 1st rounder(s) in the draft will be even close to Russell. He's a proven winner & special player. Russ in Sean's system … it could be dangerous. More so than the likes of a Desean Watson IMO. Will it happen? Probably not but I'd love to have Wilson in New Orleans. |

Re: Russell Wilson
So, is this a case of rumor becoming fact?
Whatever. As I said in the first post on this thread. The Saints don't have enough to give Seattle for Wilson. Unless you don't want to see a first round draft choice again for a few years. |

Consider our last few 1st rounders were Davenport & Ruiz. Would you not be willing to give that up for 4+ years of elite QB play? In other words, is 2 or 3 1st rounders worth another trophy on the mantle? Thoughts, comments ![]() |

Re: Russell Wilson
Nope. Not really. I like the young ones that turn out good. But, I'll take a proven player over draft picks any day given the vast majority of drafted players have very minimal impact on a whole. Yes, there can be a remarkable draft class by a team here or there, but that is the exception rather than the rule.

Re: Russell Wilson
That’s a tough one Major. I agree with your logic in that a guy like Wilson is probably worth 3 low first round picks. But Another variable in the equation is the dollar price you have to pay Wilson in contract/cap money as an elite QB vs the same cost of 3 first round picks. If they hit on another Ram, Lattimore, and Jordan with those three picks then it’s not worth it. I’d be tempted to risk it though.
