Add to that Sportsrac has the Seahawks with 28ml in dead money this year

How does a team get hit with dead cap for trading a player + their contract? I'm asking because I don't know.

When a player is traded the unrecognized already paid money becomes dead cap for the home tea,=m as they paid the player.

There is a possibility of the 2021 salary cap dropping to 175M, which would add 23.2M to the Saints cap hell. .

Not anymore. They officially raised the minimum cap figure to $180 million last week based upon higher than projected revenues and new TV contract projections. I've heard it should come in higher than that when made official. The figure being mentioned was in the $185 million range. Still not great, but better than expected.

I will take any help they give us. $10million can turn into one or two players that you either sign or don't have to cut.
