Re: Brees coming back?
Is everyone ignoring the fact that he was dealing with a rotator cuff injury through at least most of the season? You can be 24 years old and "not have it" under those circumstances.

I hope Brees retires for his own sake. He gave so much for the fans, team mates and the city of New Orleans. Healing properties of the body do not get better with age in a gladiator sport. Hopefully he listens to that second voice. #9 has nothing left to prove But it's time. |

By the way, those are what he has stated each of the last four off-seasons as deciding factors whether or not he returns. Having something to prove has never been a factor.![]()
Edit: I needed to add ... HIS OWN SAKE? What does "his own sake" mean? |

Not sure if you caught Brees in some of those post game interviews but has said there are a lot of things going on in his body. His overall quality of life AFTER football and health for his family now becomes paramount. The game is a grind. He's left it all on the field. I will never question Brees heart & love of the game but I hope he calls it a career & gets his body back to 100% & enjoy Brittany and those young kids. |

I have a feeling it is your wish for you rather than your wish for him that he calls it a career. Come on, K, call it like it is. You WANT him gone. It has nothing to do with his "quality of life" that concerns you. |
