As much I ridicule drew Brees for his drop off in play, I truly wouldn’t be upset if he comes back for his

When Drew's hand went off Donald's helmet.... that breaks anyways thumb. The way he got hit in the 49ers would most likely result in broken ribs unless you are incredibly lucky. These aren't what I call age injuries. What happened to Peyton Manning was an age related injury. They are wear n tear type injuries, and these are not what are happening to Brees. If he comes back I just hope it's with a healthy rotator cuff. Arm strength does decrease with age, but it doesn't go from throwing it 40 -50 yards down the field to not being able to hit the cut off man 10 yards away. There was obviously some issue there. ![]()
