I heard yesterday that with all of the new broadcast rights contracts (now including Amazon Prime) that the cap could be as high as $350 million in just three or four years. That makes sense since the projections are that the contracts could easily double the previous totals.

Hopefully we see him again, even in another jersey he is still a class act and always exhibited exceptional character.
Maybe he goes t Atlanta and we can see him on their 3and outs |

Great punter and great guy. He always had time to talk when I saw him. He played rugby so you know how I feel about him. He was the best tackler on the team. I'm glad I have several autographs. Don't be surprised to see him still punting in the league next year. Gillikan has some big shoes to fill! I hope he's up to the task.

Re: Saints SuperBowl Punter Thomas Morstead Released
I love Morestead but have to ask... What is a "Superbowl punter"?

How time flies... had not realized he was on the team for 12 years. He's got a few years left in him. It's too bad we live in an era where his is the result of a cap casualty. Or was it? The Saints seemed to have planned this since last year in preparing with the young Mullet Adorned Kid from Penn State. | |

He stopped performing kickoffs in 2015 so his contract should have seen a decline due to reduced role but it didnt. |
