How time flies... had not realized he was on the team for 12 years. He's got a few years left in him. It's too bad we live in an era where his is the result of a cap casualty. Or was it? Fair enough but that might be the least notable thing about Morestead. For over a decade I cant remember one single Saints fan *****ing about his performance... ever... not a single kick... That's rather frikken remarkable for a Saints player lol. He is pretty much the definition of automatic.

He stopped performing kickoffs in 2015 so his contract should have seen a decline due to reduced role but it didnt.

Morestead could do amazing things with the ball punting for hang time and directional punting as well as Kick off and pooch kicks. If we needed him to kick off again he could have. That's why he got paid. He was a blessing.
