Jabrill Cox was taken in the 4th round by the Cowboys.

Unfortunately JC tore his ACL this season vs the Vikes.

Luckily they have Parsons (drafted in the 1st rd) and he’s an absolute stud LB.

Not an argument JP, just wondering. Don’t you think a 3-4 with the old Dome Patrol LBs would be able to play into today’s league?

Not seen as an argument; Baun is a Rickey Jackson-type OLB and we drafted Baun running a 4-3 under, so it seemed a poor fit; Chris and I had discussed this in past threads...

But looks like Baun wants to be great in this league and unlike a moping LG who wanted to be paid like a LT, he's willing to get it done so he and the team will be great...

It's a great flip, development to his story; and now, SURPRISE, the LBers look to be a strength unit to this team...

But, yes, if you took that Dome Patrol, and put Akiem Hicks, David Onyemata, and Cam Jordan in front of them - that Defense would eat...

Agree. The Dome Patrol would translate todays game with no problem. And also agree that the LB corps is looking as good as they have in years. This whole defense can get us far.

Big needs at all three levels of the defense. CB and LB looks awful.

Yep, said it earlier in the Draft Thread; he'd be terrific value in the second round...

I really like Kyle Trask, and I'd love either Trask or Cox in the second round...

Would also like to take a swipe at Stanford QB Davis Mills in the early third round...

We get our QB or CB2 in R1, a OLB or QB or CB2 in R2 and then the remainder in early R3, maybe pickup an IOL with the other R3 pick - that'd be just swell...
