I really thought he was a great #2 back with Kamara

Yes. Not sure why there paying him if Sean isn't going to use him, but yeah, he's back in the black and gold...

Maybe, just maybe, Payton knows that his QB's best friend is a good running game. We no longer have Drew to rely on winning games and we'll need to mix it up to keep defenses honest under a new QB which we didn't have to have with Drew under center. I thought Murray had been cut too but I was corrected. It's just been such a quiet offseason besides hearing about our cuts and how they would affect us. He has just flown under the radar this offseason.

I really am a big fan of Murray and believe that he is a great player who can get you those difficult 3rd downs to keep the chains moving. He also knocks off some long runs as well and looks good doing it. He could be a feature back and I'm glad that we have him. He's a quiet man who likes to bowl over linemen and LB'ers. That is my kind of guy! :)
