At least with the injury to McCoy and Clapp we'll be able to see how Ruiz performs in his natural position.

If my memory serves me right, SP said after the Saints picked him that he was picked to play center?!

I thought Ruiz looked great at center. McCoy only played 5 snaps before his injury. I honestly think Ruiz can be better at center than McCoy, but was only playing guard because he is also better there than McCoy. Throckmorton looked really good filling in at RG for Ruiz. We won't miss a beat.

Needing some help on their defensive front, the Texans are bringing back a familiar face.

Per Aaron Wilson of Sports Talk 790, Houston is signing defensive tackle Jaleel Johnson off New Orleans’ practice squad.

Not a bad replacement/Cover at this point of the season.
Be interesting if he slots in at C or if Ruiz and Throckmorton keep the jobs.

Right there with you. I wouldn't be surprised by a Wally Pipp situation here.

Anyone remember why we let Stills go in the first place? My foggy memory remembers him doing pretty well with us. Was it a CAP thing?
