Since Brian came from da Bears practice squad, he goes directly to the Saint's active roster.

Even if cut from the roster he gets paid for three weeks according to practice squad acquisition rules. If Lutz is questionable and Johnson is doing well then I can easily see him rostered the full three weeks. However, if Lutz is ready and/or Johnson struggles I can see Johnson dismissed. We have seven other starters returning very soon and roster spots are at a premium. A second PK should be among the first to go.

Get I'm in the minority (that will eventually be vindicated) about Taysom's ceiling, but don't see the wisdom in carrying four QBs on the active roster, much less three...
Considering how many talk down out WR talent as a reason for Jameis' slow development, we certainly are carrying a lot of useless WRs on the roster...
It's been a slow bloom, but Col Trautman is finally rounding into form; and while he should get max snaps, did the Cards jump us on Ertz? Question, not a conclusion...
For a latecomer, Ozigbo couldn't have come at a better time considering both the need and now the BYE to learn the offense and give Sean options...
Probably my favorite pick since Ramczyk or Hendrickson in 2017, Adebo is vindicating my argument not only for his pick, but patience through rookie inconsistencies...
Just hope Sean, Mickey have a good understanding with Marcus Williams and his agent; he deserves guaranteed money, and is 1A in our secondary...

I’m not really sure where the narrative came from that MT would be back after the bye but it sounds like it’ll probably be another month.

Well Rapoport is saying a couple weeks so there is that. I doubt we can count on him right away when he gets back anyhow. Yea, defenses will be concerned enough about him to maybe open others up but I don’t expect him to get many targets.

And what is your basis for Thomas not getting many targets when he returns? Curious as to your analysis.
