I appreciate everyone’s input. It’s an interesting discussion. I knew this would be a worthwhile thread to start! Again, the underlying premise of this is not attack him and his character. Just to cogitate (one of my favorite words BTW) on how the team can succeed from here.

No crap. He was injured. Have you ever tried doing cardio work with a broken leg and a high ankle sprain? No doubt you'd come in over-weight and out of shape.
