What’s worse is the fact that media outlets know the vast majority of people never read beyond the headlines. A lot of media outlets make you subscribe in order to read beyond the first paragraph. Not such a big deal in sports media but it’s being done more and more in news media which is kind of scary. If people don’t bother to read beyond the headlines as it is they sure as hell aren’t going to take the time to enter an email address even when it’s free.

Yup. Then they head straight out to their local forum and start declaring it as absolute truth.

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't a lot of northern Louisianna Cowboy's fans?

And still are; word is there's a handful of diehards that make some noise...

Now, Katy, Texas and the The Woodlands - saw more LSU and Saints flags flying than UT, A&M, UHouston, Rice, or Texans flags...

Saints gear up here out-numbers Cowboys gear 10 to 1. The only time you see the "star" out in public is if they have strung together three wins in a row during the season ... and we all know how rare that is.

:D

I see multiple people every day wearing Saints gear all year round up here in Bossier, Shreveport, Ruston, Monroe, etc.

Yep. I see more and more news media sites doing it.
