Re: USA Today/SaintsWire | David Onyemata overlooked on list of best NFL interior defensive linemen
Everyone focused on Rankins, and I kept saying Onyemata was the better, more effective, and available defensive tackle...
Now light a fire under him and watch him start crushing quarterbacks as he did that time vs Cam Newton... |

Re: USA Today/SaintsWire | David Onyemata overlooked on list of best NFL interior defensive linemen
I’ve never understood the drivers for articles like this. If you want to write about how good a player is then do that, there is no need to frame it in controversy. Is the title intended to somehow trigger Onyemata?
The assumption that someone’s inability to recognize skill that another person sees is an intentional snub is pretty far fetched. |

And you can probably safely bet some in the Saints' locker room asked why his contemporaries failed to acknowledge Onyemata, and that's what motivated the article... |

Yes, we do now live in a clickbait world. Yet, when you get past this ruffling of your feathers, there are morsels and nuggets of valuable insights that shed more light than the national medal is willing to admit or even take the time to understand. And as WhoDat fans, it reinforces our belief in and understanding of the team as it currently stands. This, and many more stories (new QB competition, etc), is precisely why this year is particularly interesting.
