Re: Saints make 5 moves today
+1 he looks very promising.
I'd still argue we need more depth at CB. Latty has missed games over the course of his career + a possible suspension & I have no idea which version of Crawley we'll see in 2021. Even before the PRob retirement, coach SP was calling CB a must. Not to mention Prince A looking like a guy who has bounced around teams the last couple of seasons. I would have given Dre' Kirkpatrick a shot before signing Amukamura. I think we'll add another vet CB after final cuts have been made across the league. |

Re: Saints make 5 moves today
I know it’s just one preseason game, and I know Kamara was not playing...well, you see where i’m going. Ravens have a good D and they were stuffing most runs. (Fortunately the saints were too!). But with developing talent at WR and TE, I expected a better performance out of the backfield. Like I said, it’s early, but time is running short.

He gave an example of a player who's preliminary hearing is not scheduled until next February and how the league will not rule on any discipline until then. Lattimore could fall under that category. I've searched but have yet to find anything on any hearing to date.

In the past there has been no rhyme or reason to disciplining players. In these cases the player is assumed innocent unless "proven" guilty. DUI's, speeding tickets, failing drug tests, etc. are more clear cut for immediate "sentencing". All that said, there's nothing in writing as a new policy so there is no guarantee. |
