+1 he looks very promising.

I'd still argue we need more depth at CB. Latty has missed games over the course of his career + a possible suspension & I have no idea which version of Crawley we'll see in 2021. Even before the PRob retirement, coach SP was calling CB a must. Not to mention Prince A looking like a guy who has bounced around teams the last couple of seasons. I would have given Dre' Kirkpatrick a shot before signing Amukamura.

I think we'll add another vet CB after final cuts have been made across the league.

As for Lattimore and any possible suspension, I believe it is based upon if and/or when there is a legal hearing. According to a legal analyst on NFL Radio, can't remember who, the manner in which the league is now handling player discipline depends upon whether or not it is a criminal issue. He gave an example of a player who's preliminary hearing is not scheduled until next February and how the league will not rule on any discipline until then. Lattimore could fall under that category. I've searched but have yet to find anything on any hearing to date.

Just curious, Do you know if there has been a CBA change this year or
something like that which would include that provision ? Seems I remember that most of that was up to commissioner discretion. I may be wrong

He said it was simply the direction the league office was moving. He said it insures they have as much information (via criminal investigation) as possible to determine what, if any, league discipline is required.

In the past there has been no rhyme or reason to disciplining players. In these cases the player is assumed innocent unless "proven" guilty. DUI's, speeding tickets, failing drug tests, etc. are more clear cut for immediate "sentencing".

All that said, there's nothing in writing as a new policy so there is no guarantee.
