I’m starting to think neither one of these guys are an answer long term. I was high on Winston but so far it seems like same old story hot and cold. If it turns out Winston isn’t the answer I’ll be fine with a gimmicky Hill led offense. Or even dual Qb offense for this year.

Hill, no. Jameis, jury's out but I thought he played well despite leading the 2nd and 3rd string. He went through his progressions, didn't risk too much. Some of those throws were absolute ropes!

Fumble, not his fault. INT, underthrown (slightly) but arguably not his fault and had that been completed we're talking about him as the #1 QB.

JW played horrible. He was shaken in the pocket and held the ball way too long. He threw one or two good balls but was sacked more than that. TH one int was because the wr sat down instead of continuing his route.

Winston got sacked once. Hill was sacked too by Patrick Queen running around behind the line of scrimmage after he had already thrown one interception and another should be pick that was dropped by the defender. Was he not holding it too long as well? Winston looked much more polished than Hill.

His 1 int was 100% on the wr. Go back and look at how long they both held the ball and tell me who his issues with their release timing. I have it on dvr. I’ve watched it twice. Hill didn’t even attempt to leave the pocket and him running is his go to. He played 10x better. Even book played better than JW. You are going to be one sad individual when he’s no longer on the team in a month.

Come back to me when you sober up. Winston is our QB this season.

If neither one of them can win the job, give it to Book and see what he's got. Use Hill as a gadget guy and Winston in some packages to mix it up.

I hope preseason shows something.

If the Saints organization started Book over Winston and Hill you can guarantee there would be a mass exodus and an increase in trade requests. You’d lose that locker room instantly. The players want Winston as it is. Payton needs to choose leader sooner than later.
