He’s head and shoulders above Taysom but if you believe the reports coming out of camp he was pretty hot and cold, like he’s always been. I hope he can find consistency but those TDS he made against Jacksonville were pretty typical of him but usually they’re followed up with a couple interceptions a few series later. |

As for being a clear leader, that depends upon point of view. I feel Payton knew exactly who was the clear leader even though Hill was given every possible chance. Besides, Hill is quite capable of starting in the NFL. They both looked good overall. I don't see him being anywhere near as effective as Winston, however. |
