But agree completely on Taysom.
I’m sure Smith will help for the game or two he plays before he’s hurt again. Maybe we get lucky and get to see him AND Thomas together for those two games.

Your positivity, or lack there of, is well documented. Maybe your negative aura is causing the injuries! No ... at least I hope it isn't. No way ... but, this is New Orleans and negative juju is a real thing.

Re: Observation From the Saints' Loss to the Giants

Taysom is a fantastic runner and can really set the tone with some hard hitting runs.

I think Payton needs to take a long look in the mirror and realise that Taysom is most valuable as a HB / TE hybrid player. Strong willing blocker, good speed and excellent power with decent hands.

As The Dude said, keep Taysom in as a starter on offense, just not as the QB. I think he would really be a good player if he focused on RB and TE, split a few carries with Kamara to give the D a power threat to have to deal with.

Paytons ego forces Hills arm into the game.

Yup. Couldn't agree more.

I'd post pictures from Facebook, but ... yeah, it's in crash zone. LOL

I like the idea of Taysom being in a HB/FB role and running the QB Power in near the goal line.

That's his obvious role. Let him eat where the eaten is right.

I hope Payton is reading your comment Rez. The game yesterday would resulted in a W if Hill played 90% of the snaps in that role. It’ll also limit the snaps Trautman gets.

Re: Observation From the Saints' Loss to the Giants

Compare Winston’s first 4 games and Hill’s first 4. First of all Hill won 3 to Winston’s 2. Second Hill completed 72% of passes to Winston’s 62%. It’s hard to believe there are guys on here ragging on Hills passing. When he gets his opportunity to start again there will be another thread about eating crow concerning opinions of Hill.
