Observations from the Saints' Win against the Redskins

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; We won the game in a sloppy way and gave a ton of things for coaches and team to correct over the bye week. It's ideal timing I guess....

So to be clear, you're saying that signing Verity right after he got cut after preseason and before the Saints signed the two veteran kickers would have cost much much more than the scenario we're currently undergoing. What is a rookie UDFA salary? What is the min salary of veteran NFL kickers? One can arguably say one of these kickers may have cost one game from the two we lost. I think we know which game that is.

Definitely better material than Scam Newton!

Just how well did Brees do under SP. I honestly can't remember his first year under SP, besides looking at the stats.

Better than a healthy Kwon? I get it, with Demario we get a leader on and off the field. He’s my favorite Saint. I played against him in High School. He’s a beast. But ain’t nobody that’s watching the game betting on him to make a play in coverage. Even the announcer’s today mentioned he should have been flagged twice. As a run defender, we haven’t seen that kind of talent in quite some time.

He’s carried himself very well. I can’t wait until we actually have WR’s after the bye and then we can really start to fully assess his on-field performance. Although, I am very impressed that he’s made it to this point with a 4:1 TD to INT ratio. I think the best is yet to come.

No, Heidelberg High. But back then Demario played mostly WR and I played DB.

How is that harassment? I think you need to chill out a bit there. Easy, saintfan.

But if he had comprehended it the first ten times I had pointed it out, wouldn't you think it would have become clear enough that I wouldn't have to keep pointing out the obvious?
