Re: Observations from the Saints' Win against the Redskins
My sister hooked me and my Uncle (a "skins fan) up with great seats 7 rows behind the Saints bench surrounded by Who Dats! So my take aways from the game...
SP is finally trusting Jameis to do more with the play calls it seems. He really does need to settle down and get rid of the ball a bit quicker, because the line is holding up quite well. In spite of a couple of questionable throwing decisions, IMHO, JW has been solid. Period. I don't get why our D continues to try to lay a big hit on opposing offense instead of wrapping them up! Too many instances of short gains being made into big chunks because some of our guys just don't TACKLE! It seemed like their QB had all friggin' day to get rid of the ball. I saw almost no push up the middle to collapse the pocket. Our DB's covered well and Lattimore was ungodly! Their best weapon "Scary" Terry McLaurin was having fits trying to get open! Gilliken! Good Lord! How did they find this one! Kamara. Hitting his stride. Gotta love it. Final Note: My Uncle was worried about being surrounded by so many folks in Black and Gold during the entire game. But even he was smiling after the Saints scored! WHO DAT! WHO DAT! WHO DAT SAY DEY GONNA BEAT DEM SAINTS!! |
A wise man once said, "Poo-poo smells just as bad as s#!%. One just SOUNDS cuter!"

As for Armstead I think we can all agree that when he’s healthy he is one of the best and that’s a hella long list of star players. |
