Re: Observations from the Saints' Win against the Redskins
Oh come on. Werner didn’t have a single pass break-up today.

Re: Observations from the Saints' Win against the Redskins
With Jameis feeling the wrath of coach I'm glad it came with a win to soften the blow.
Coach P is gradually eradicating the bugs out. Hopefully Drew can help with him floating those high throws. |

Re: Observations from the Saints' Win against the Redskins
So just for fun I extrapolated Winston’s stats over a 17 game season and he’s currently on pace for 3,003 yards/41 TDs/10 INTs.

Re: Observations from the Saints' Win against the Redskins
My biggest observation is how coachable Winston is. Sean Payton was laying into him on the sidelines and he never looked angry. He never snapped back. He just shook his head and said yes sir.

Re: Observations from the Saints' Win against the Redskins
That’s cap bro. Davis has been the best coverage linebacker on this team since he’s gotten here and usually grades out really well compared to the rest of the league. If he’s getting beat on routes by WR’s it’s because he’s supposed to get beat. Those are mismatches.

I noticed that too. He kept his cool. He wants to play within the system I believe. He needs a system with some players.

Re: Observations from the Saints' Win against the Redskins
He stepped into some big shoes, and he's wearing them. I wish they'd let him try field goals, coming out of high school he was highly rated at punting and kicking. How much worse could he be? He's obviously got a big leg.
The only reason this game was close was due to the one sided penalties. Trautman had a good game (to give credit where due) |
